Day 49
23 Feb 2018 (Medellin, Colombia): We went to the fancy neighborhood, El Poblado, today. Sitting in a coffee shop, I met a Venezuelan girl who had just taken the bus in from Caracas. She was trying to get restaurants to let her sing so she could send money to her family and move to New […]

Day 51
25 Feb 2018 (Medellin, Colombia): Leah went grocery shopping and came back with a fruit bounty. I’m especially excited for the guavasteens (the green ones in the middle next to the lime).
Day 52
26 Feb 2018 (Medellin, Colombia): We start our day at a nice breakfast place to do some research and planning for Ecuador. I get up to use the bathroom and see this glorious sight: four gringas intently focused on their Apple laptops. Sometimes you gotta just embrace what you are, right babe?
Day 53
