9 Mar 2018 (Medellin Colombia): We thought it would be nice to have a couples massage at a local spa. Well, we were wrong. Here’s Leah expressing the mood in the room after my masseuse and her masseur left. There was way too much oil, hardly any modesty, and — I guarantee — absolutely no formal training in any massage discipline. I spent much of my unrelaxing experience thinking about the massage I received in Alleppy, India back in 2007. As I write this, I can hear Leah giggling as she reads my journal entry from that day.
Maybe I should stop trying to get cheap massages in developing countries.
I can vouch for cheap massages in Thailand, especially foot massages.
Yeah. India and Colombia are definitely not Thailand.
