18 Mar 2018 (Quito, Ecuador): Leah and I spend most of the day walking around the city. I am pretty consistently winded (it turns out thinner air at higher altitudes really is a thing); Leah seems to be handling it better. Especially in the central part of town, it’s curvy and hilly and cloudy. The old colonial buildings can be quite beautiful, and the statue atop El Panecillo is always visible in the background. This is a lovely city despite many things being closed for the sabbath.
